High Value PF

Taj Gibson-Chicago Bulls (5,900): Gibson has been a steadier option than Tobias Harris although he doesn’t have the upside that Harris does against the Suns. Taj has produced between 25-35 fantasy points in six of his seven games this season and is coming off a season-high 35.75 fantasy points against the Magic on Monday. He had 16 points and 11 boards in that contest, but I expect him to return to his more typical low-grade double-double with some defensive numbers to get him to 25-35 fantasy points tonight against the Hawks. He should bget plenty of time against Millsap and Howard since he’s one of the Bulls’ best interior defenders.

Trevor Booker-Brooklyn Nets (5,200): Booker had been a star in my DraftKings daily picks so far this season continually delivering above his price point. Booker has posted over 35 fantasy points in three of his last five games and had 15 points, nine boards, a block, and three steals last night against the T-Wolves. He’s a nice pick again tonight against the Knicks even though he is on a back-to-back. The only time the Nets lave played a back-to-back this year, Booker had 14 points and 14 rebounds on the second night for 40.5 fantasy points against the Bucks. He’s a good option to out-produce his price again tonight.∗∗

Jon Leuer-Detroit Pistons (4,500): If you have to go cheap at PF, another option with some nice upside in a possible revenge game is Jon Leuer who has settled in nicely with the Pistons after leaving Phoneix (we call that pulling a Marcus Morris). Leuer has played over 25 minutes in each of Detroit’s last six games and has scored double-digits in each of his last there for over 34 fantasy points. While he won’t light everything on fire tonight, he is a pretty safe play in a A+ matchup and his minutes are pretty secure as well.

Ersan Ilyasova-Philadelphia 76ers (4,300):, The Sixers are resting Joel Embiid tonight and Jahlil Okafor is still on a minutes restriction which could force Phily to give a lot of extra playing time to recently acquired Ersan Ilyasova. The Sixers grabbed Ilyasova from the Thunder in exchange for Jerami Grant. Since joining the team, Ersan Ilyasova has posted 21.25, 28, and 16.25 fantasy points. The Sixers will be in a matchup tonight with the high-scoring Pacers so there should be plenty of fantasy production for Ilyasova if he does end up with 30+ minutes tonight. ∗∗

Domantas Sabonis-Oklahoma City Thunder (4,100): Another affordable PF play is rookie Domanatas Sabonis who has been starting all season for the Thunder. Sabonis had his first career double-double with 15 points and ten boards against the Heat finishing with 32 fantasy points. He has over 20 fantasy points in each of his last three games and is starting to find a nice role in the Thunder starting lineup. If you can’t afford Booker or Leuer or need another cheap F, Sabonis is nice 4K play.∗∗
