High Salary SG

James Harden-Houston Rockets (11,500): If you have to choose just one star to build around tonight, my No. 1 recommendation would be “The Beard” who is playing the point for Mike D’Antoni and turning in bananas numbers as a result. He has scored at least 30 points with at least 12 assists in each of his last three games and has at least 61 fantasy points in each of his last four. The only concern with rolling out Harden is that he is playing monster minutes which could catch up to him if Kawhi Leonard tries to lock him down in San Antonio tonight. ∗∗∗∗

DeMar DeRozan-Toronto Raptors (8,000): While he’s not quite on James Harden’s level, DeRozan has also started the season hot and ripped off five games with over 40 fantasy points before Sunday’s 32.5 fantasy points against the Kings. The fact that 23 points and 32.5 fantasy points were a bit of a letdown show just how torrid DeRozan was to start the year. Tonight, he’ll look to get back in the groove against the Thunder in what should be a fun Eastern Conference vs Western Conference 8:00 PM matchup. ∗∗∗

C.J. McCollum-Portland Trail Blazers (7,000): While DeRozan has trended down just a little, C.J. McCollum has been on fire the last two games for the Blazers scoring 37 and 33 points against the Grizzlies and Suns. Last night, McCollum added seven assists, six rebounds, two steals, and a block for a massive 57.5 fantasy points. On the down side though, he is playing on the second night of a back-to-back as the Blazers face the Clippers and LA limited him to just 29 fantasy points the first time the two teams met. While he definitely has a sky-high ceiling, he is risky tonight. ∗∗

Avery Bradley-Boston Celtics (6,500): Bradley has stepped up his offensive game this season which has resulted in him posting at least 40 fantasy points in three of the C’s last four games. He has pulled in double-digit rebounds in those three contests and added a season-high six assists on Sunday in Boston’s blow-out loss to Denver. After a few days to marinate in their embarrassing home loss, the Celtics head to Washington which should be a matchup that sets up well for AB since Washington is allowing the third-most fantasy points per game to opposing SG.∗∗∗∗
