2017 NFL Mock Draft: Trio of quarterbacks land in top 10

The Jacksonville Jaguars desperately need help up front, and Michigan State defensive tackle Malik McDowell just may be the answer. McDowell has stated that he will not turn pro unless he is a top-five pick, and that could be the case in April. He is a dynamic defensive player, with the size and strength to be a dominant force in the middle of the Jaguars defensive line.
Michigan State is having a terrible season, though McDowell has managed to play well despite being double-teamed on nearly every play. The Spartans are only 2-7 on the season, and due to the fact McDowell was the only returning starter on the defensive line, he has had to play inside at tackle, and on the edges. McDowell also recently said that the Spartans struggles will not factor into whether or not he turns pro.
At 6-foot-6 and 275 pounds, McDowell could play the middle or on the outside at the next level. Jacksonville needs to revamp their defense, after trying to make a splash on that side of the ball in free agency this past offseason. The Jags have a ton of weapons on offense, and now it is time for them to add some young talent to their defense.
