High Value PF

Taj Gibson-Chicago Bulls (5,900): Gibson has continued to be rock-solid for the Bulls and my FanDuel daily picks this season even though he doesn’t usually go off in one category. He has at least 30 fantasy points in three straight games after 30 fantasy points last night against the Hawks on 13 points, six rebounds, two blocks, and two steals. Gibson doesn’t have the upside of Julius Randle or Jabari Parker offensively, but he provided enough D and rebounds to be a great sub-6K value tonight against the Heat who are a little thin up front.∗∗

Terrence Jones-New Orleans Pelicans (4,700): Jones is a high-risk play since coach Alvin Gentry seems set on limiting his playing time and not starting him, but when Jones is on the floor he produces good numbers. He has at least 23 fantasy points in three of his last four games and even stacked up 46.75 fantasy points against the Suns last Thursday. The problem is that, while I believe in Jones, his coach apparently doesn’t. He has been good enough to take a flier on, but he is my “fantasy kryptonite” since I seem to snatch him for my lineup on all the wrong matchups and leave him out for when he produces.

Larry Nance Jr.-Los Angeles Lakers (4,400): As of this morning, Nance is still officially in the NBA concussion protocol although he is listed as questionable for tonight’s game.  If he can get cleared to play, he’ll be in a good matchup with the Kings and a great value play since he posted 31.25, 29.75, and 28.25 fantasy points in his three games before the injury. If he gets cleared, he’ll be one of the best value plays of the night. If cleared-∗∗
