High Salary PF

Anthony Davis-New Orleans Pelicans (11,300): Davis continues to put up big numbers, but his team continues to lose. He has at least 49 fantasy points in each of his last three games and six of his first eight, but he hasn’t been able to get the elusive “W” you know he wants to add to his statsheet. “The Brow” had 35 points and 15 boards against the Bucks in their first meeting this season for a massive 69.75 fantasy points. Since Milwaukee is allowing plenty of fantasy points in general, he should be able to put up another big number tonight. It’s a winnable game for New Orleans, so look for Davis to go all out to get that win in what should be a high-scoring game in one of the early contests. If you have to pick one star for tonight, Davis would be my selection. ∗∗

Julius Randle-Los Angeles Lakers (6,800): Randle’s six turnovers on Tuesday put a damper on his 15-point, ten-rebound double-double limiting him to just 29.5 fantasy points. So far this season, though, Randle has thrived under new head coach Luke Walton production at least 30 fantasy points in four of his eight games. He had 43.5 fantasy points in the Lakers upset of Golden State last week, and he’ll look for another big game like that tonight against the Kings. Sacramento is currently allowing the sixth-most fantasy points per game in the NBA to opposing PF, so Randle is in a good place to produce tonight.  ∗∗
