High Value SG

Rodney Hood-Utah Jazz (5,600): Hood has been a regular in my FanDuel daily picks all season and continues to be a steady option on this price point. He has at least 24.9 fantasy points in seven of his last eight games and has there games of 30+ fantasy points during that span. Hood contributes almost every night for the Jazz and should be able to do that agains tonight as Utah comes home after their successful five-game road trip and takes on the Grizzlies.

Sean Kilpatrick-Brooklyn Nets (5,500): Kilpatrick has had a great start to the season for Brooklyn and bounced back from his first “down” game with a nice night in Phoenix on Saturday. In that Nets’ win, he had 19 points to go with nine boards and four assists while adding a steal for a solid 37.75 fantasy points. He has over 30 fantasy points in three of his last five games including a 47-fantasy-point game against the Pistons back at the start of the month. With the Nets short-handed in the backcourt, Kilpatrick will continue to carry a lot of the load on offense. Even if Isaiah Whitehead is able to return tongiht, Kilpatrick still makes a ton of sense asa midrange play with a lot of upside as the Nets try to hang with the Clippers in LA tonight.

Josh Richardson-Miami Heat (4,400): Richardson is back after a knee injury sidelined him to start the year, and he’ll be in the starting lineup tonight as the Heat visit the Spurs. He’ll start in place of the injured Goran Dragic and should be able to handle a full complement of starters minutes. He has 21.25 and 27.25 fantasy points in his last two games and has a ton of upside for someone under 5K.

Seth Curry-Dallas Mavericks (4,100): Coming into the year, Curry was a popular breakout candidate, but he started slow with his new team in Dallas. Recently, though, he has picked things up and posted 41.5 and 38.25 fantasy points in the Mavs back-to-back last week. Dallas hasn’t played since last Wednesday, so its hard to predict exactly what their rotation will look like tonight agains the Knicks. However, it’s safe to say that those big games should earn Curry more time in the rotation in a good matchup tongiht against the Knicks who allow the most fantasy points per game in the NBA to opposing SG.

Courtney Lee-New York Knicks (3,700): On the other side of that matchup, Courtney Lee is the best option under 4K tonight, but he doesn’t have a super-high ceiling. Lee has at least 16 fantasy points in four of his last five games (the other being a blowout), but he’s not one of the top offensive options for the Knicks which puts a cap on his upside.
