Odell Beckham busted out Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’ in the end zone and knowing the NFL, he’s probably going to get fined for it.

Odell Beckham got off to a slow start this season, failing to record a touchdown until Week 5. That led to a lot of scrutiny, especially when he came out and said he’s “not having fun anymore” when playing football.

But he’s now up to six touchdowns this season, including five in his last four games, and if you went by his celebrations, it looks like he’s having fun again.

In his young career, Odell has always had colorful touchdown celebrations. If Cam Newton was known for making the dab popular, OBJ did the same for the whip. He took it up a notch this year when his first few touchdowns involved making love with a kicking net.

Against the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday Night Football, he went with a more safe-for-work approach by going back to dancing. And this time, he paid tribute to a fallen legend in Michael Jackson:

That’s right – Odell busted out the Thriller dance in the end zone. In case you were wondering, that video is also where the “Michael Jackson eating popcorn” meme came from. But Beckham wants people to remember that video for more than just that.

Even though the NFL has been dishing out unnecessary fines to people for celebrating, one can only hope that Beckham got on Roger Goodell’s good side for this one. After all, how can anybody hate Thriller?

It’s no secret that when Beckham is producing, the Giants are succeeding. At 5-3, they’re doing well, but they could’ve been so much better had Beckham got off to a better start. But with 79 yards receiving and a touchdown already, it looks like we’re back to seeing the Beckham of old.

The Dallas Cowboys are the class of the NFC East right now, but the Giants are still the only team that has beaten them — that’s got to count for something. When they meet in the final week of the season, there could be a lot on the line.
