Devin Booker looked like a shoe-in to be the next best thing for the Phoenix Suns following his rookie season. Yet, it seems like Booker has been fighting off a sophomore slump in the early stretches. While, it’s not Klay Thompson level of worry, Booker hasn’t been the same type of shooter from the perimeter that we saw as a rookie. The Suns though have to be happy about T.J. Warren raising his game to start the year. For the Suns, this season should be all about seeing how much they can develop their younger core pieces. If that means they end the year with the best odds at the number one pick so be it. That’s just another talented young piece that the team can bring on board for cheap. The youth movement should be in full force in the desert if it is not already. Marquese Chriss found his way into the starting lineup already and hopefully they continue to baptise Dragan Bender by fire in his first year not only in the NBA, but in America as well.. (3-8).
