High Salary SF

Kevin Durant-Golden State Warriors (9,600): With LeBron finishing a tough back-to-back in Indiana tonight, I’ll go with Durant and the Warriors on the road in Toronto tonight as my top big-money SF instead. Durant has at least 40 fantasy points in five of his last six games and eight of his 10 games this season. Durant had 29-9-5 (points-rebounds-assists) for 49.3 fantasy points in his last game against Phoenix which was on Sunday. After a couple days off, he should be fresh and ready to produce a big number against the Raptors tonight who are expected to get DeMarre Carroll back but will still struggle to slow down Durant. ∗∗

Carmelo Anthony-New York Knicks (7,900): If you ignore the game he was ejected from (and those of us who owned him that night would like to), Melo has produced at least 37 fantasy points in five straight after finishing with 37.9 fantasy points on Monday against the Mavericks. Anthony had 24 points, seven rebounds, three assists, a block, and a steal in that game bringing his average to 33.7 fantasy points per game. He should be able to be around 40 fantasy points again tonight as the Knicks host the Pistons in one of the Eastern Conference early games. He’s a steady and solid upper-mid-range option, so use him confidently tonight if you have about this much to spend.

T.J. Warren-Phoenix Suns (6,300): If “Tony Buckets” played for a team besides the Suns, his price would be closer to 8K than 6K, but he’s producing for the Suns (and my FanDuel daily picks) on a regular basis so far this season. He had 20 points and 34.6 fantasy points on Sunday giving him five games over 30 in his last seven. He’s in a good matchup against the Nuggets tonight, and I think he’s a great way to invest at just over 6K tonight.

Otto Porter-Washington Wizards (6,300): While Porter hasn’t been quite as consistent as Warren, he has had a great run over his last five games with four straight over 25 fantasy points including a 68.8-fantasy-point explosion last Wednesday night against Boston. He’ll probably do a lot of the heavy lifting for the Wizards in tonight’s game against the Sixers since Washington will try to limit the minutes and workload of John Wall and Bradley Beal. Philadelphia is allowing more fantasy points per game to opposing SG than any other team in the NBA so far this season, so Porter has a super-high ceiling tonight even though he is a little bit riskier than Warren.
