High Value SF

Harrison Barnes-Dallas Mavericks (6,000): Barnes has scored 20 points or more in four straight games with over 27 fantasy points in five straight contests. He is picking up the slack from Dirk Nowtizki and Deron Williams who are both nearing returns but uncertain for tonight’s game in Boston. Barnes will present a mismatch for the Celtics since they don’t have Jae Crowder still. Barnes could be primed to go off tonight with another big game if he can attack the same mismatch that allowed Otto Porter to go crazy last Wednesday night.

Trevor Ariza-Houston Rockets (5,300): Ariza has quietly been on a nice run of his own lately as part of James Harden’s nightly show. He has scored at least nine points in five straight games and has at least 24 fantasy points in each of his last four. He has his best fantasy game of the season on Monday against the Sixers when he finished with 17 points, eight rebounds, three assists, and three steals for 39.1 fantasy points. He’s in a tougher matchup than that tonight, but I still think he’s a solid pick to return value at just over 5K.∗∗∗

Kent Bazemore-Atlanta Hawks (4,800): Bazemore had posted over 30 fantasy points in three of his last five games and had a solid 23.1 fantasy points against the Heat last night. He has found his scoring touch and is contributing solid numbers in multiple categories. He is a volatile option since his production does have a tendency to come and go, but he has a high upside for a player under 5K.∗∗

Matt Barnes-Sacramento Kings (3,800): Barnes has provided a solid veteran option for the Kings this season and has produced over 20 fantasy points in five of his 11 games this year including two of his last four. His minutes can fluctuate based on the game situation, but when eh’s on the floor he produces in multiple categories making him the best sub-4K play at SF tonight.
