. LB. Alabama. Tim Williams. 18. player. 59

The Miami Dolphins need some help on defense, and there are some linebackers in this class that can be difference makers from day one. One of those linebackers is Tim Williams, a key player on a very good Alabama Crimson Tide defense. He has been a leader on the defense for a few years, and has played in some huge games, making him ready for the next step in his career.

Miami can put up points, and running back Jay Ajayi has blossomed into a star this season. While quarterback Ryan Tannehill has shown the propensity to make mistakes often, he is still considered the team’s franchise quarterback. While the Fins could absolutely go with a wide receiver in round one, we expect them to bring a hard-hitting backer to South Beach.

Williams is a freak of an athlete, and is considered one of the smarter linebackers in the SEC. He has gotten better as the season has worn on, and during the Tides close win against LSU two weeks ago, he was a man among boys. He is going to  be an impact player at the next level, and Miami is thirsty for their first defensive star since Jason Taylor.
