High Salary PG

John Wall-Washington Wizards (8,900): Wall played both halves of the Wizards mid-week back-to-back and put together good numbers despite limited minutes. He had 27 points, six assists, and 40.8 fantasy points on Wednesday and followed that with 23 points, 11 assists, and 41.9 fantasy points on Thursday. Wall has scored at least 19 points in each of his last eight games and is handing out solid assists as well. Tonight, he gets a tough matchup at home against the Heat who have allowed fewer fantasy points to opposing PG than any other team in the NBA. Still, he’s rolling right now and Washington needs him to have a big game with the lack of contributions coming from other places. ∗∗

Kemba Walker-Charlotte Hornets (8,500): Walker led the Hornets to a nice win at home against the Hawks last night and finished with 39 fantasy points on 21-5-6 (points-rebounds-assists). He has at least that many fantasy points in five of his last six games now including his 60-fantasy-point explosion on 40-10-6 last Friday in Toronto. He is playing on the second night of a back-to-back, but he’s in a great matchup against the Pelicans. Walker is again one of my favorite FanDuel daily picks of the night and should continue to run the offense for BuzzCity. ∗∗∗∗

Jrue Holiday-New Orleans Pelicans (7,900): On the other side of that matchup, Holiday is worth a look although its risky to roll him out in just his second game of the season after missing time due to a personal matter. Holiday returned last night and looked great scoring 21 points to go with seven assists in 23 minutes to total 36.9 fantasy points. I like Holiday a lot and will use him often moving forward, but he’s high-risk since he’s still on a minutes limit and could be fatigued in his second game in as many nights. ∗∗

Goran Dragic-Miami Heat (6,500): The Heat got Goran Dragic back on Thursday after a three-game absence due to an ankle issue. He started and played 35 minutes against the Bucks finishing with 16 points, six rebounds, four assists, and 29.2 fantasy points. He has at least 28 fantasy points in six of his eight games this season and has reached that number every time he has played at least 29 minutes. He should be at that level again tonight as the Heat visit Washington although the Wizards have defended opposing PG fairly well so far this year. ∗∗∗
