There is one NBA game that starts earlier tonight, but the Jazz-Rockets matchup isnāt in the main FanDuel competition, so Iāll focus on the contests that lock at 7:00 in todayās FanDuel daily picks. At 7:00, four games tip off: Celtics @ Pistons, Hornets @ Pelicans, Heat @ Wizards, and Mavericks @ Magic. At 7:30, a ābargain binā special gets underway in Philadelphia as the Sixers host the Suns. The NBATV double-header starts at 8:00 as the T-Wolves visit the Grizzlies in Memphis. The Warriors swing through Milwaukee at 8:30 to face the Bucks, and in the last game of the night the Clippers host the Bulls which is the second feature game on NBATV.
One thing to make sure to keep your eye onĀ every night for DFSĀ is who is playing in back-to-back games since that can dramatically shift any teamās rotation. There are nine teams that are playing for the second night in a row:Ā the Celtics, the Hornets, the Clippers, the Mavericks, the Pistons, the Warriors, the Grizzlies, the Pelicans, and the Suns. Make sure to check back before tip-off to see if any of their stars are resting or playing reduced minutes as a result. Since tomorrow is a pretty light schedule (six games) only the Jazz and Bulls have to work about turning around and playing again tomorrow.
With eightĀ games to choose from, there are lots of players to consider for your roster tonight. Ā Iāve put togetherĀ my favorite fantasy plays on the next few slides in my FanDuelĀ daily picks. My goal each day is toĀ give you the information you need to build your own customized lineup to get you a win however you participate in DFS contests.Ā In order to help you find what you need, Iāve separated my picks by position and price. YouāllĀ find two slides per positionāthe first slide will feature the best high-salary options followed by someĀ high-value options which cost less but still offer solid returns. Each slide contains at least two optionsĀ with extras thrown in where possible.
I rank my picks for each contestĀ using stars after each explanationĀ to show the relative strength of the pick. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but in short, more stars means more confidence (on a point-per-dollar basis). Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how Iām putting together the best of my picks into my personal lineup for todayāsĀ competition. I suggest you build your own customized team with the players you like the most, but youāre welcome to check outĀ my lineups and use them as a place to get started.
Just a reminder that in my FanDuelĀ daily picks, all salary references and references to āfantasy pointsā refer FanDuelĀ pricing and scoring.
