High Value SG

Monta Ellis-Indiana Pacers (5,600): In a potential revenge game, Monta Ellis gets to take on the Warriors in Indiana tonight. He had 28 fantasy points in last night’s win in OKC, but he did have to play 42 minutes. It looks like C.J. Miles and Paul George will be out again tonight which should allow Ellis to get enough workload to take it to his former team and be a good value at this price under 6K. Ellis has been up-and-down this season, but he should be very involved again tonight making him a nice option to consider at this price.∗∗∗

Dion Waiters-Miami Heat (5,100): If Waiters was anyone else, I’d like him a lot more in my DraftKings daily picks, but I’ve been burned by his inconsistency too often in the past. He has been playing well for Miami, though, with 16+ points in three of his last four and at least 34 fantasy points in each of those three contests. He gets a good matchup against Philadelphia tonight, but it’s still hard to have too much confidence in him especially with Justise Winslow possibly returning and crowding out some of his playing time.∗∗

Jonathan Gibson-Dallas Mavericks (3,700): The Mavericks outbreak of injuries has opened the door for Jonathan Gibson to carry over his success to the Regular Season after some nice numbers this preseason. The former New Mexico State Aggie went off for 26 points on Saturday in just his second NBA game and racked up 41.5 fantasy points. He should continue to get playing time for as long as Williams and Barea are sidelined, but he is under-sized and unproven making him a high-risk, high-reward flier that will probably be a popular pick tonight.∗∗∗

Gerald Henderson-Philadlephia 76ers (3,500): Another under-the-radar and under-4K consideration is veteran Gerald Henderson who has finished with over 21 fantasy points in three of his last four games. He had 11-5-1 against the Suns on Saturday, and he continues to be a steadying veteran presence for the young-and-developing Sixers.
