High Salary SF

Kevin Durant-Golden State Warriors (9,600): Durant banged his knee on Saturday against Milwaukee scaring Golden State fans and his fantasy owners, but he returned to the game and played well finishing with 33-6-5 and 56.5 fantasy points. He has at least 50 fantasy points in five of his last six games, but he hasn’t totally gone off for 60+ fantasy points since the second game of the season. Durant won’t have to deal with Paul George tonight, and the biggest threat to his fantasy value may be that the Pacers can’t keep up and the game turns into a blowout. Barring that scenario, he’s a pretty reliable play against Indiana tonight.∗∗∗∗

Kawhi Leonard-San Antonio Spurs (8,700): Leonard had one of his better games since the first few games of the season with 23-12-7 against the Lakers on Friday. He ended up with 53.5 fantasy points in that road win. Tonight, he’ll take on the Mavericks injury-depleted lineup. He has ben getting a ton of minutes lately which is very unlike the normally conservative Gregg Popovich. Kawhi definitely has the potential to go off and be a solid investment, but since he costs almost 9K he’s a little bit risky in a game that could get one-sided.

Andrew Wiggins-Minnesota Timberwolves (7,400): Wiggins crashed back to earth on Saturday after a great run. He only had seven points in 32 minutes against the Grizzlies in that contest for a supremely disappointing 13 fantasy points. Before that game, though, he had 57 fantasy points against the 76ers on 35 points and ten rebounds. He also had a career-high 47 points (and 58.5 fantasy points) against the Lakers a week ago Sunday. Tonight, I think Wiggins will bounce back against the Celtics who have allowed the second-most fantasy points per game to opposing SF this season. Those numbers are skewed slightly since they had been without Jae Crowder, but even accounting for the improved defense at the position, I like Wiggins to have a strong bounce-back tonight. ∗∗
