High Value SF

Trevor Ariza-Houston Rockets (5,200): Ariza has been a regularly recurring option in my FanDuel daily picks as he works alongside “The Beard” in Mike D’Antoni’s system. Ariza has at least 26 fantasy points in five of his last six games and is averaging over 25 fantasy points per game so far this season. He gets a good matchup tonight against the Raptors who are still working DeMarre Carroll back from injury slowly. Ariza should be a safe pickup for 25+ fantasy points which is good return on a 5K investment.

Robert Covington-Philadelphia 76ers (4,300): Covington is one f the better cheap fliers to take a look at tonight especially as the Sixers take on the Grizzlies who have had a number of injuries at SF this season. Both Chandler Parsons and James Ennis will miss tonight’s game which could put Covington in a mismatch. He is know for being streaky and has been just that for Philadelphia this season. He played 31 minutes on Monday against Miami and finished with 26.3 fantasy points on 9-9-1 and three steals. His shot still hasn’t been falling, but as a high-upside flier tonight he’s worth a look.

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson-Brooklyn Nets (4,000): RHJ explosed for 20-13-4 in Phoenix a week and a half ago piling up 42.6 fantasy points. Unfortunately for he and the Nets he hasn’t been able to keep rolling at that same clip. However, he did have over 20 fantasy points in each of his last two games with 24 fantasy points against the Thunder on 13-5-2 and 20.6 fantasy points against the Blazers on 8-3-4. He should be in a good matchup tonight against Boston who is allowing the third-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing SF so far this season. Jae Crowder may miss tonight’s game as well which could make Hollis-Jefferson an even better play against Boston.

Matt Barnes-Sacramento Kings (4,000): Barnes joined the starting lineup for the Kings in their last game and played a season-high 36 minutes. He finished with just 11.2 fantasy points, though on 8-1-2 with a steal. Barnes had posted over 20 in three of his previous four games, though, and should stick in Sacramento’s new and smaller lineup. I like him in tonight’s matchup against OKC although he doesn’t have the high ceiling of RHJ.
