High Salary PF

Anthony Davis-New Orleans Pelicans (11,600): Davis was a huge disappointment last night finsihing with just 24.1 fantasy points in the Pelicans rout of the Hawks. He left the game for a while with a knee contusion but was later able to return. Davis was coming off of two great games of 67.8 fantasy points and 64.2 fantasy points so there’s no doubt he can produce if he’s 100% in tonight’s matchup against the Timberwolves. Minnesota has struggled at times against opposing big men which could lead to a monster game for Davis tonight at home if he plays his full complement of minutes. I actually think he’s a much better play tonight than he was last night and some owners may shy away after yesterday’s bad burn.

Blake Griffin-Los Angeles Clippers (9,500): If you can’t quite bring yourself to spend over 11K on one roster spot, Griffin is a solid alternative tonight in Dallas. He has helped power the Clippers to their best start in history and has at least 45 fantasy points in four straight. He has scored at least 20 points in eight straight and is adding solid rebounds as well. The biggest risk with Blake tonight is that the game will turn into a rout since the Mavs don’t have all their players, but he has emerged as a strong DFS play whenever he gets his usual minutes.

Draymond Green-Golden State Warriors (8,000): Green has continues his steady multi-category production alongside his star-studded starting lineup and has at least ten points in seven straight contests. He has over 33 fantasy points in nine of those ten games with a 45.9-fantasy-point high water mark last Sunday against the Suns. Green doesn’t have as high a ceiling as Griffin and Davis, but he makes sense against the Lakers tonight who he had 39.8 fantasy points against on 16-9-0 earlier this year and who will likely be without Julius Randle, their starting PF, tonight.

Kevin Love-Cleveland Cavaliers (7,800): Has anyone noticed that Kevin Love has put up seven straight double-doubles? The Cavs’ PF has at least 33 fantasy points in each of those games with a pair of games over 45 fantasy points. Tonight, he’s in a great matchup against the Blazers who are giving up more fantasy points per game to opposing PF than any other team in the NBA. The only danger is a blowout after Portland played last night in New York, but with so much time off Love should be ready to pile up the fantasy points in a hurry tonight in this great matchup.

Serge Ibaka-Orlando Magic (6,000): Ibaka’s recent play has been one of the few things that has been trending the right direction for the Magic and he’s in a great matchup tonight against the Suns. Ibaka has at least eight rebounds in six straight games and has added at least 15 points in four of his last five dating back to his monster game with 47.8 fantasy points against the Thunder. He has over 30 fantasy points in each of his last two games and should easily get that many tonight in since the Suns are allowing the third most fantasy points per game in the NBA to opposing PF.
