High Value PG

Ricky Rubio-Minnesota Timberwolves (5,900): Rubio and the Wolves try to get their second win in a row after they dispatched the Suns in Phoenix last night. They’ll have to upset the Warriors tonight to pull that off, though, playing in Oakland on the second night of their back-to-back. Last night, Rubio finished with 26.25 fantasy points on 11-1-4 and five steals. He has only been able to reach 30 fantasy points once in his last five games which makes him a high-risk option tonight. One reason to like Rubio, though, is that he has a good matchup against the Warriors who have been giving up good fantasy nights to opposing PG as they continue to rely on their ability to flat-out outscore their opponents.

Ish Smith-Detroit Pistons (4,900): As log as tonight’s game doesn’t get lop-sided, Smith is a solid option at just under 5K. He has at least 20 fantasy points in three of his last four games and six of his last eight. He played well last night as the Pistons knocked off the Clippers finishing with 16-2-7 for 32 fantasy points. The Thunder are giving up the fourth-most fantasy points per game in the NBA to opposing PG, so Smith should be able to produce solid numbers tonight. He had 11-6-3 in the teams’ previous meeting finishing with 27.5 fantasy points.∗∗∗

Andrew Harrison-Memphis Grizzlies (3,300):  For reasons still unexplained, the Grizzlies started Harrison against Miami last night and brought Mike Conley off the bench. Harrison played 35 minutes and finished with a well-balanced 4-5-7 with a pair of blocked for 23.75 fantasy points. He has at least that many fantasy points in three of his last four games and is a nice cheap play tonight. His playing time is unpredictable since the Conley situation is so unusual, but Harrison has shown he can put together stats in a variety of categories when he gets time on the floor.
