High Salary SG

Nicolas Batum-Charlotte Hornets (6,800): Batum had a huge night last night against the Knicks playing for 45 minutes and totaling 44.25 fantasy points on 18-9-9. He had been held under 25 fantasy points in his last two games, but he bounced back nicely and should be able to continue to have good success against the Knicks tonight who have allowed the third-most fantasy points per game in the NBA to opposing SG.

Bradley Beal-Washington Wizards (6,500): Last night in Orlando, Beal finished with 14-2-8 for a decent 30 fantasy points. It was a bit of a letdown after he had posted 49 and 48.75 fantasy points in his two previous games. He did play 38 minutes last night and also was involved in a scuffle which could potentially result in a suspension, so double-check his availability before tip-off tonight. He could also be on a minutes restriction which is why I’d give a slight edge to Oladipo if picking a SG from around this price point.∗∗

Victor Oladipo-Oklahoma City Thunder (6,400): Oladipo had his second-best fantasy game of the season last night totaling 48 fantasy points against the Nuggets on 26-4-7 with three steals. He has at least 30 fantasy points in each of his last six games and will likely be around that level of production again tonight as the Thunder come home to host the Pistons. He’s definitely settling in nicely next to Russell Westbrook in the backcourt and giving the Thunder a potent fantasy backcourt.
