10. Aaron Rodgers

The Packers are terrible, but Rodgers gets a bad rap. He’s been brilliant for most of the year, but his coaching staff and receivers have been the stuff of nightmares.

9. Philip Rivers

Rivers throws interceptions (12) but he more than makes up for it with his lasers downfield. The Chargers are mired in last place of the AFC West because of great competition, but Rivers plays like the ultimate winner.

8. Dak Prescott

Prescott continues to play virtually mistake-free football. The rookie has thrown for 2,835 yards with 18 touchdowns and two interceptions. At this point, he at least sneaks into the MVP talk.

7. Russell Wilson

Wilson and the Seahawks just sustained their third game this season without a touchdown. He’s a phenomenal talent, but something has to change on that side of the ball.

6. Andrew Luck

Luck will be back in the saddle this week when the Colts play the Jets on Monday night. Thanks to being the AFC South, Luck and his mates have a shot to end up in the postseason.

5. Drew Brees

Brees is leading the NFL with 3,587 passing yards and 30 touchdowns. Someday, people are going to look back and wonder how he never won an MVP, or a second title.
