High Salary SG

C.J. McCollum-Portland Trail Blazers (7,600): McCollum is coming off a monster game on Sunday when he posted 28-3-7 for 47.75 fantasy points against the Rockets. He can sometimes take a back seat if Damian Lillard goes off, but at home tonight against the Pacers should be a matchup where both can shine in an up-tempo game.  Indiana has defended opposing SG pretty well this year, but McCollum has at least 24 points in five of his last seven and at least 37 fantasy points in each of those five contests. It would be a better deal if he was under 7K, but he still makes a solid play at this price point.

Bradley Beal-Washington Wizards (7,300): Beal has been outstanding over his last five games posting over 45 fantasy points four times while averaging 29.2 points, 4.6 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 0.8 steals. Beal is in a tough matchup tonight against the Thunder who allow the third-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing SG, but he has been so hot lately that he’s still an option that makes sense in what should be a high-scoring game and one of the most entertaining of the night.

Dwyane Wade-Chicago Bulls (6,700):If you’re not into taking on either of those matchups, a SG with some good momentum in a more favorable place to perform is veteran Dwyane Wade. Wade has at least 33 fantasy points in each of his last three games and had 43.25 fantasy points on 26-5-2 in just 29 minutes last Friday. The Bulls haven’t played since then while they’ll host the Lakers tonight who played a tough game last night in New Orleans. LA is allowing the sixth-most fantasy points per game in the NBA to opposing SG, so a well-rested Wade should find room to get work done tonight. ∗∗

Zach LaVine-Minnesota Timberwolves (6,300): LaVine has scored over 25 points in three of his last four and over 31 fantasy points in each of those contests. Against the Jazz on Monday he played a massive 44 minutes and finished with 28-8-8 for 51 fantasy points.  He actually did have a better game than that earlier this month when he posted 52 fantasy points against he Magic. Tonight, he’s in a good spot to hang another number like that on the board as he faces the Knicks who are giving up the third-most fantasy points per game to opposing SG. With the recent struggles of both Wiggins and Towns, LaVine is carrying the load on offense for Minnesota which should result in another big game for him tonight.

Devin Booker-Phoenix Suns (6,300): In his second year in the NBA, the young SG has become a boom-or-bust option every night he take  the floor for Phoenix. Booker had 30 points and 43.25 fantasy points in his last game, but had been held under 22 fantasy points in three of his previous four. He has a very high ceiling, but he comes with substantial risk as he faces Atlanta tonight.
