High Salary PG

John Wall-Washington Wizards (8,400): Wall has at least 50 fantasy points in five of his last six games and has four double-doubles in his last five. He had 15-6-16 (points-rebounds-assists) against the Thunder on Wednesday for exactly 50 fantasy points in the Wizards overtime loss. He has been playing huge minutes lately with 43 and 44 in his last two contests, so there’s no need to worry about any kind of cautious minutes restriction. Tonight, he and the Wizards are in San Antonio to face the Spurs who rank in the middle of the pack in fantasy points per game allowed to opposing PG. While the Wizards haven’t looked good this season, Wall is still averaging 46.7 fantasy points per game making him definitely worth a look at under 8.5K. ∗∗

Isaiah Thomas-Boston Celtics (7,500): It’s a possible revenge game tonight of IT4 as the Kings roll into Boston to continue their East Coast trip. Thomas and the Celtics lost on Wednesday to Detroit while the Kings got an unexpected night off due to the condensation issues in Philadelphia. Thomas will look to attack his former team tonight and continue his strong start to the season. On Wednesday, he had 27 points and 33.5 fantasy points giving him at least that many fantasy points in each of his last six games and eight of his last nine. Thomas had 44.5 fantasy points on Monday in Miami on 25-4-8, but the bit of a downturn on Wednesday was mostly due to a lack of non-scoring stats. He’ll be active and involved tonight against Darren Collison who was one of the players the Kings decided to keep when they let Thomas sign with the Suns. Since then, IT4 has found a home in Boston and is the focus of the Celtics’ attack.

Rajon Rondo-Chicago Bulls (6,500): Rondo has been solid for the Bulls since returning from an ankle injury and is in a good matchup against the Cavaliers tonight.  Cleveland has allowed the third-most fantasy points per game o opposing PG and has been giving up huge numbers to opposing PG over their last five. Rondo will look to keep that trend going tonight as he continues a strong stretch of play. Since missing a couple of games in the middle of last month, Ronda has posted over 33 fantasy points in each of his five games since returning highlighted by a 13-11-8 game against the Nuggets for 43.25 fantasy points  and a 14-8-6 against the Lakers on Wednesday for 37.5 fantasy points. Rondo has been a solid contributor and always seems to step up in nationally televised games like tonight’s against the defending champs.

Dennis Schroder-Atlanta Hawks (6,000): The Hawks PG is coming off his best game of the season after pouring in a career-high 31 points on Wednesday against the Suns and adding nine assist to total 50 fantasy points. He has over 30 fantasy points in each of his last three games, but he’ll be in a tougher matchup tonight as Atlanta comes home to host the Pistons.  He hasn’t been the most consistent PG play this season, but he has produced at least 25 fantasy points in five of his last six games. He still may be prone to a burn or two in his first year as a starter in Atlanta, but he seems to be settling in nicely.
