With a huge sports weekend ahead of us, the NBA tips things off with a nice nine games this Friday including a solid ESPN double-header featuring the Rockets who pulled off a huge win last night in Golden State and now have to play a brutal letdown game at altitude in Denver. If you’re building your DraftKings lineup for this Friday night, check out who I like from the 18 teams taking the floor in today’s DraftKings daily picks on the following slides.

More from DraftKings

The main competition on DraftKings tonight includes all nine games although there are more limited late options as well. Lineups lock in place for the main contests at 7:00 PM ET when the 76ers start off the night by welcoming the Magic to Philadelphia. Three more games tip off at 7:30  as the Kings visit Boston, the Lakers travel north of the border to face the Raptors, and the Wolves take on the Knicks at Madison Square Garden. The first game of ESPN’s double-header tips at 8:00 as the Cavs try to shake off a two-game losing streak as they visit the Bulls. Also at 8:00, the Pelicans host the Clippers and the Pistons visit Atlanta to take on the Hawks. In the 8:30 game, the Spurs host the Wizards in San Antonio, and the night wraps up with a 10:30 tip-off in Denver where the Rockets face off with the Nuggets.

Houston isn’t the only team on the second night of a back-to-back as the Cavs, Clippers, Rockets, and Magic are all in that position. Tomorrow, the Hawks, Celtics, Bulls, Nuggets, Lakers, T-Wolves, Sixers, and Raptors all have a game on the schedule, so those teams could try and sneak in some rest if things get one-sided early in their contests tonight.

With 18 teams giving us lots of options tonight, there are many different fits at many different price points. Since I don’t love any of the stars matchups tonight, I’m actually going extremely balanced tonight and trying to get a solid low-risk lineup with a lot of upside at each position in my DraftKings daily picks lineup which you can find on the final slide of this post. I suggest you build your own customized team with the players you like the most, but you’re welcome to check out my lineups and use them as a place to get started.

My goal each day is to give you the information you need to build that customized lineup to get you a win however you participate in DFS contests. In order to help you find what you need, I’ve separated my picks by position and price. You’ll find two slides per position–the first slide will feature the best high-salary options followed by some high-value options which cost less but still offer solid returns. Each slide contains at least two options with extras thrown in where possible.

I rank my picks for each contest using stars after each explanation to show the relative strength of the pick. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but in short, more stars means more confidence (on a point-per-dollar basis).

Just a reminder that each day in my DraftKings daily picks, all salary references and references to “fantasy points” refer to DraftKings pricing and scoring.  If you are looking for similar coverage specifically for FanDuel, check the box above for related posts or find the latest on the fantasy basketball hub. If you have any questions or are looking for any updates as the games get closer, follow @FansidedFantasy on Twitter. I’ll also use that account to tweet out links when we add new stories to the fantasy basketball hub.

With those ground rules established, let’s tip off our DraftKings daily picks for tonight starting with the best plays at the point.
