High Value SG

Jordan Clarkson-Los Angeles Lakers (5,500): Clarkson has struggled in the three games on the Lakers current road trip despite getting extra playing time. Clarkson has at least 29 minutes in six straight games but has been held under 25 fantasy points in three of those contests. He only had 14-1-1 against the Raptors last night, and the Lakers and his fantasy owners need him to produce more non-scoring numbers and find his shot after making just 4-of-15 last night. In good news, though, for Clarkson, he’ll keep getting plenty of shots and minutes while Nick Young and D’Angelo Russell are out which could set him up for a nice games in Memphis against their banged-up backcourt. ∗∗

Will Barton-Denver Nuggets (4,800): Barton has been sidelined with a bad ankle for 11 of the Nuggets previous 14 games before getting back into the starting lineup last night, Barton looked good finishing with 32.9 fantasy points on 17-7-5. He can be a great producer when he gets the starts and a key part of the Nuggets offense. In each of his three games before the injury he had at least 27 fantasy points, and I like him at this price tonight as long as he’s ready to roll in back-to-back games. He’ll be in a tough matchup against the Jazz, but it won’t be quite as bad since Rodney Hood has already been ruled out and George Hill is doubtful.

Wesley Matthews-Dallas Mavericks (4,800): Matthews has started to find his offense over the last few games and has scored at least 13 points in six of his last seven games. He has over 19 fantasy points in four of his last five highlighted by a 26-2-1 game against the Spurs on Wednesday which resulted in 34.9 fantasy points. Matthews and the Mavs face teh Bulls tonight who will be without Dwyane Wade. Matthews should be able to take advantage of his absence making him a solid sub-5K option.

Wayne Ellington-Miami Heat (4,300): Ellington has played 27, 32, and 34 minutes in his three games since returning. He had 22-2-2 against the Nuggets on Wednesday and 17 more points against the Jazz. He will look to continue to produce against the Blazers tonight and is a solid bargain play as long as he keeps getting so much playing time.

Troy Daniels-Memphis Grizzlies (3,700): Daniels has stepped up for the injury-riddled Grizzlies posting 22.7 and 22.9 fantasy points in their last two games scoring 19 points in each game against the Raptors and Magic. He is high-risk since he hadn’t produced much at all prior to his last two games, but he has enough upside to be flier tonight against the Lakers.
