High Salary SG

C.J. McCollum-Portland Trail Blazers (7,500): The Blazers welcome in the injury-depleted Heat tonight, and they’ll Lillard and McCollum to help them pick up another win. The Blazers are scoring a ton of points powered by their backcourt, and McCollum has at least 34 fantasy points in three straight and five of his last seven. He had 19-5-5 against the Pacers on Wednesday and an even better 45.1 fantasy points on 28-3-7 against the Rockets. He isn’t the most consistent option since he can take a backseat to Lillard in some games, but he’s still one of the top-priced SG with the most potential to go off tonight.

Nicolas Batum-Charlotte Hornets (6,700): Batum has been a multi-category producer for most of the season and produces solid points, rebounds, and assists when he’s on his game. On of his better games of the year came against tonight’s opponent, the Timberwolves when he had 16-5-7 for 40.5 fantasy points. He is coming off a solid 12-9-6 for 30.8 fantasy points against the Mavericks and appears to have shaken off an eye injury that cost him time at the beginning of last week. He is low risk since he produces in so many ways, but he doesn’t have the high ceiling that McCollum offers.

Klay Thompson-Golden State Warriors (6,000): Thompson has been held under 30 fantasy points in three of his last four games including scoring just 15 points in Thursday’s double-OT loss to Houston. Thompson finished that game with 24.7 fantasy points, and will need to go more tonight in a good matchup against the Suns. The last time the Warriors faced Phoenix, Thompson dropped a season-high 30 points to go with two boards and an assist. If he can find his rhythm like he did that game, Thompson will be a good option at 6K.

Zach Lavine-Minnesota Timberwolves (6,000): LaVine is another 6K ally to consider for tonight as the Wolves head to Charlotte after dropping both games in a home-and-home set with the Knicks. LaVine played over 40 minutes in both games and has been carrying huge workloads lately for Minnesota. He had 23-2-3 past night for 29.9 fantasy points, but the can do even more as he showed in Monday’s 28-8-8 for 47.6 fantasy points against the Jazz. LaVine had 19-2-2 against Charlotte earlier this year but only played 33 minutes. In a full workload tonight he should reach 30 fantasy points or more.
