High Salary SF

LeBron James-Cleveland Cavaliers (9,700): The Champs have lost three straight and head into Toronto tonight for another tough matchup. I could definitely see James being extra-assertive tonight and posting a massive number like he did last time the faced the Raptors when he exploded for 28-9-15 for a total of 63.75 fantasy points. He also had a good game (although not quite that level) on Friday against Chicago when he finished with 27-5-13 for 50.75 fantasy points. James is definitely capable of a monster stat-line which is why I really like him at under 10K tonight in a game the Cavs should be well-rested and desperate to get a win in.

Jimmy Butler-Chicago Bulls (8,500): Jimmy Butler helped the Bulls get past LeBron and the Cavs on Friday with 54.5 fantasy points on 26-8-6 and then turned in 45.75 fantasy points the following night in Dallas on 26-9-4 while D-Wade restd. With Wade back tonight, Butler will give up a little bit of usage, but he has been able to get at least 53 fantasy points in three of his last six games and had a very solid 49.5 fantasy points on 27-12-5 in the team’s last matchup with tonight’s opponent-the Blazers. ∗∗

Gordon Hayward-Utah Jazz (7,900): Hayward has scored over 30 points in each of his last three games and over 22 in seven straight. He has at least 36 fantasy points in each of his last six games and posted 49.25 fantasy points and 51.75 fantasy points in two of his games last week. On Saturday, he had a little bit of a down game surprisingly turning in zero assists, but his 40.5 fantasy points were still decent. Tonight, he’s in a great matchup against the Lakers who are allowing the fourth-most fantasy points per game to opposing SF this season. Look for a big game from Hayward tonight who will continue to carry the Jazz offense while George Hill and Derrick Favors are sidelined.

Harrison Barnes-Dallas Mavericks (6,200): Barnes has at least 30 fantasy points in five of his last seven contests after posting 22-5-1 for 32.75 fantasy points against the Bulls on Saturday. He continues to get plenty of offensive opportunities with his new team in Dallas and is adjusting nicely to his role which includes much more scoring than in Golden State. He should return value tonight against the Hornets who are allowing the seventh-most fantasy points to opposing SF this season.
