Seattle Seahawks. 5. team. 36. A dominant performance at home over Carolina will be overshadowed by the indefinite loss of Earl Thomas. An incidental collision with teammate Kam Chancellor resulted in a broken bone in Thomas’ leg. Hopefully the offense’s dominance will carry over the remainder of the season, and make up for the loss of their best player. Having Thomas Rawls to help carry the load off Russell Wilson’s shoulders will help. Coming off a broken leg of his own, Rawls had two touchdowns, and 118 total yards against the Panthers. Overall, the offensive efficiency was an exciting sign for Seahawks fans heading towards the final stretch of the season.
Next Week: The Seahawks take a trip to venerable Lambeau Field, where they have not won in 20 years. Aaron Rodgers will provide a tough test for the banged-up Legion of Boom, which lost Earl Thomas to a broken leg on Sunday night against Carolina.

Playoff hopes: Seattle is now three games ahead of Arizona, virtually establishing themselves as the NFC West champions. With four winnable games to finish out the regular season, the Seahawks will compete for one of the top spots in the NFC.
. 8-3-1. Previous:
