Oakland Raiders. 3. team. 28. The division-leading Raiders appeared primed for an upset loss against a dangerous Buffalo team. And when the Bills jumped out to a 24-9 lead with 9:01 to play in the third quarter, Oakland’s five-game winning streak appeared to be in danger. But 29 unanswered points later via a pair of David Carr touchdown passes and a pair of scores by running back Latavius Murray and Jack Del Rio’s confident club rolled to a 14-point win. The Raiders’ signal-caller finished the afternoon with 260 yards through the air and wasn’t sacked in the victory. Meanwhile, Murray racked up 82 yards rushing on 20 carries, part of a 139-yard effort by the Oakland ground attack.
Next Week: It’s a short week for the Silver and Black as Del Rio’s team looks to avenge this season’s 26-10 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. This time around, the teams play at Arrowhead Stadium and on a Thursday night. The Raiders are a sparkling 5-0 away from home this season, but Oakland has lost four straight in this series.

Playoff hopes: Pretty damn good barring an unimaginable collapse, the Silver and Black will be playoff-bound for the first time since 2002. But they still have some work to be done if they are to capture the AFC West. The Kansas City Chiefs sit just one game back in the division and have already beaten Del Rio’s team once this season.
. 10-2. Previous:
