24. Miami Beach Bowl: Central Michigan vs. Tulsa

I’m not going to lie to you and say that the Central Michigan Chippewas and Tulsa Golden Hurricane are two sleepers in college football that deserve more credit. That’s not the case. They are two good football teams that finished the season in non-Power 5 conferences right where they should have given their talent. However, these teams do have talent and do appear to be evenly matched entering this game, despite Tulsa’s superior record. The Miami Beach Bowl won’t light the world on fire, but it should be a hard-fought, closely contested game that football fans can enjoy.

23. Cactus Bowl: Boise State vs. Baylor

Man, this would be a really fun game if the Baylor Bears were actually good. When the Bears came out of the gate hot to start the season, everyone thought the NCAA might have a weird quandary on their hands given the issues with the program and the fact that they might wind up being in the running for a College Football Playoff berth. Yet, they proved to be nothing more than mediocre as they got man-handled often down the stretch. Meanwhile, the Boise State Broncos remain one of the best non-Power 5 schools in the country. If for no other reason, watch the Cactus Bowl to see Boise State lay a hurting on a Baylor program that, given how they’ve handled their already despicable actions, deserves a good bowl beatdown.

22. Armed Forces Bowl: Louisiana Tech vs. Navy

If Will Worth weren’t done for the rest of the year for the Navy Midshipmen, this game would 100 percent come in much higher than at No. 22. However, the Army-Navy game showed just how much different this Midshipmen group is when their starting quarterback isn’t in the fold. Even still, they’re a tough football team with a gritty defense and overall style of play. That defense will be tested against the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs. Quarterback Ryan Higgins was one of the most prolific passers in the country this season and led a high-octane offense. So why this still comes in at 22nd is really the contrasting styles of these two teams and how interesting it’ll be to watch when they clash.
