High Salary C

DeMarcus Cousins-Sacramento Kings (11,000): Cousins has posted two good games with over 50 fantasy points in his last two contests against the Sixers and T-Wolves, but the main reason to look to build around Boogie tonight is the 55-14-1 with three blocks he posted against Portland last Tuesday when he exploded for 76.3 fantasy points. He gets the same tasty matchup again tonight, and since the Blazers have struggled all season with opposing bigs, Cousins should be able to get another monster number. He’s crazy expensive compared to the other centers, but his matchup is too good to overlook.∗∗∗∗

Dwight Howard-Atlanta Hawks (8,000): Another great matchup to attack tonight is Dwight Howard against the Knicks. New York is allowing the most fantasy points per game to opposing cents over their last five games giving up a massive 57.6 fantasy points per game. Howard has also been playing well lately with four straight double-doubles and at least 40 fantasy points in each of his last three games. He only played 21 minutes in his return from his bad back in Minnesota but still managed a huge 20-12-2 for 40.4 fantasy points. He actually could be a better points-per-dollar play than Cousins tonight based on matchup, but Dwight does come with more risk since he doesn’t post 50 fantasy points almost every game like DeMarcus.∗∗∗∗

DeAndre Jordan-Los Angeles Clippers (7,000): The Clippers could really use some help from Jordan in their offense with Blake Griffin out and J.J. Redick and Chris Paul both hurting. The Pelicans should be a good matchup for him to step up in since they allow the fourth-most fantasy points per game to opposing big men. Jordan had 19-9-0 and 6-13-2 against them earlier this month, and there’s a chance he could end up with a nice double-double tonight in the Big Easy.∗∗

Mason Plumlee-Porltand Trail Blazers (6,600): While he couldn’t do much to slow down Cousins in their meeting last week, Plumlee had 27-13-5 for 55.1 fantasy points against the Kings. The Blazers will need him to step up again tonight if Lillard is out, and Plumlee did just that with 13-15-4 for 37 pop on Monday against the Raptors. His defensive struggles can be frustrating sometimes leading to a lack of minutes like on Friday against the Spurs, but Plumlee offers a lot on the offensive end to a Blazers team that will need the help tonight against the Kings. ∗∗

Myles Turner-Indiana Pacers (6,300): Turner had 20-9-1 and four blocks for 38.3 fantasy points against the Wizards in their meeting last Monday, and he’ll look to put together another big game tonight against the Wiz. Turner has been scoring effectively and adding 7-10 rebounds almost every night recently which is enough to make him worth considering at just over 6K.∗∗
