High Value PG

Reggie Jackson-Detroit Pistons (5,500): Pistons fans and his fantasy owners have been waiting for Jackson to break out after missing the first six weeks of the season. Jackson has been playing a little better lately and handling an increased workload as well. He played a season-high 34 minutes on Wednesday against Milwaukee finishing with 14-3-6 for 28.6 fantasy points. He has at least 26 fantasy points in three of his last four games and is in a great matchup tonight against the Hawks who allow the second-most fantasy points per game to opposing PG so far this season.∗∗∗∗

Austin Rivers-Los Angele Clippers (4,300): Rivers has stepped up for the Clippers with a few nice games filling in for injuries to J.J. Redick and Chris Paul. As a result of those injuries, Davis has played more minutes and has been able to score at least 16 points and over 21 fantasy points in three of his last four contests. He had 22-4-0 against his former team the Pelicans on Wednesday for 29.8 fantasy points, and if Redick is out again tonight against the Rockets, Rivers will likely get another start. No Redick-∗∗∗ With Redick-∗∗

Malcolm Brogdon-Milwaukee Bucks (3,900): Brogdon was a breakout candidate I liked at the very beginning of the season, and he has played very well over the last few weeks of 2106. He has at least seven assists in three of his last four games and is getting increased run as the primary distributor in the second unit. He was held to just 9.7 fantasy points the day after Christmas but has over 21 fantasy points in the other three of his last four games including a pair of games with over 32 fantasy points against the Cavs and Wizards last week. Brogdon is still boom-or-bust coming off the bench but he’s getting enough time to be the a good cheap flier at PG tonight.

T.J. McConnell-Philadelphia 76ers (3,800): McConnell is likely to get a spot start tonight after Sergio Rodriguez turned his ankle last night and has been ruled OUT for tonight’s game. McConnell only had 6-0-3 for 9.5 fantasy points last night in Utah in 27 minutes, but in his last start he went off for 12-10-9 and 40.5 fantasy points against the Pistons. The Nuggets are a great matchup for PG, so McConnell will be a great cheap play tonight especially since he’ll get a ton of playing time.∗∗∗∗
