High Salary PG

Jrue Holiday-New Orleans Pelicans (7,000): Holiday is still a little over-priced, in my opinion, but he does have some upside to consider as he and the Pelicans host the Knicks. Holiday has only reached 35 fantasy points twice in his last seven games and his shot has been a little off lately. On the positive side, though, he did have at least nine assists in four of his last five games and at least 31 fantasy points in three of his last four.∗∗

Dennis Schroder-Atlanta Hawks (6,900): Schroder has been playing better than Holiday, but is 100 cheaper at 6,900. He did have to log 40 minutes on Wednesday in the Hawks overtime game with New York, but he emerged with 27-0-5 and two steals for 36.5 fantasy points. Schroder has scored at least 20 points in four of his last five games and posted at least 34 fantasy points in eight of his last 11 games.

Schroder and the Hawks host Detroit tonight which should be a good chance for him to put up another good number. The Pistons have allowed the third-most fantasy points to opposing PG over their last five games setting Schroder up for success tonight.∗∗∗∗

Derrick Rose-New York Knicks (6,700): Rose went head-to-head with Schroder on Wednesday and posted 26-7-6 in 43 minutes for 41.4 fantasy points. He has scored at least 19 points in four straight games since returning from his latest injury and has at least 29.5 fantasy points in each of those contests. Tonight, he’s in a good matchup against the Pelicans who are the third-worst team in the NBA at defending opposing PG. ∗∗∗∗
