FanDuel focuses on seven games in tonight’s main DFS fantasy basketball competitions, and you canĀ find who should be in your lineup in today’sĀ FanDuel daily picks.

On the eve of New Years Eve, the NBA has a ten-game schedule spread throughout this Friday, December 30.Ā The main FanDuel competition for tonight, though focuses on a more manageable slate of seven games starting with aĀ four-game tip-ffĀ at 8:00 PM ET. Since there are still plenty of stars and sleepers to take a look at from thoseĀ 14Ā teams in tonight’s ā€œmainā€ competition, check out myĀ FanDuel daily picks on the following slides to see who I think you should get in your lineup for tonight’s contest.

More from FanDuel

FanDuel decided to break up tonight’s games into two separate competitions with an ā€œearly onlyā€ slate of three games followed by sevenĀ games that start at 8:00 PM ET or later. That 8:00 tip time gives owners an extra hour to tweak their lineups before everything locks as four games get started all at the same time.Ā The featured game in the four-game waveĀ is on NBATV as the Wolves welcome the Bucks, but there are also good matchups as the Knicks visit New Orleans, the Clippers take on the Rockets, and the Pistons face the Hawks. At 8:30, the Spurs host Portland, followed at 9:00 by the Nuggets and 76ers meeting in Denver. The night wraps up with the Mavericks finishing out their back-to-back by visiting the Warriors in Oakland.

One thing to always check as you get your lineup together is which teams are playing in back-to-back games which can result in atypical rotations or one-sided games. Tonight, the Mavericks and 76ers are playing for the second night in a row while the Clippers, Rockets, Bucks, and Knicks are on the front half of their back-to-back set withĀ another game tomorrow.

With 14Ā teams in action,Ā there are a lot of starters, sleepers, and stars to be aware of as youĀ assembleĀ your DFS fantasy basketball roster.Ā To see who I think are the top options based on form and matchup, scroll through myĀ FanDuelĀ daily picks on the following slides. My goal each day is toĀ give you the information you need to build your own customized lineup to get you a win however you participate in DFS contests.Ā In order to help you find what you need, I’ve separated my picks by position and price. You’llĀ find two slides per position–the first slide will feature the best high-salary options followed by someĀ high-value options which cost less but still offer solid returns. Each slide contains at least two optionsĀ with extras thrown in where possible.

I rank my picks for each contestĀ using stars after each explanationĀ to show myĀ relative confidence in theĀ pick. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but in short, more stars means more confidence (on a point-per-dollar basis). Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the best of my picks into my personal lineup for today’sĀ competition.Ā This post isn’t a place to findĀ a copy-and-paste lineup since there are plenty of places that will sell you access to their picks. In this free daily post, I suggest you build your own customized team with the players that you like the most. As always, you’re welcome to check outĀ my lineupĀ and use itĀ as a place to get started.

Just one more quick reminder that each day inĀ my FanDuelĀ daily picks, all salary references and references to ā€œfantasy pointsā€ refer to FanDuelĀ pricing and scoring.
