High Salary PG

Isaiah Thomas-Boston Celtics (8,100): IT4 has been on fire for the Celtics lately and tore up the Heat on Friday for 54.4 fantasy points on 52-2-0 (points-rebounds-assists) and a steal. The zero assists is definitely not the norm for Thomas who is usually great at creating offense for both himself and others. He has at least 42 fantasy points in five of his last seven games and over 48 fantasy points in four of those contests. Since John Wall and Kyle Lowry are both in tough matchups tonight, Thomas is the big-$$  PG that I like the most as he takes on the Jazz who are without Dante Exum and George Hill leaving Shelvin Mack to soak up most of their PG minutes.∗∗∗∗

Eric Bledsoe-Phoenix Suns (7,600): Bledsoe is in a good matchup as well as he faces the Heat that Thomas so utterly destroyed. The Suns’ PG is quietly playing well lately and has at least 38 fantasy points in five of his last six. He had a big night last night with 22-8-9 for 47.1 fantasy points against his former team, the Clippers. He did log 41 minutes in that game, though, so he could play a little bit less on the second night of his back-to-back tonight. The Suns are at home as they host the Heat, though, so they’ll definitely be hoping to get a “W” and should get some extra motivation from facing former teammate (and PG) Goran Dragic.∗∗

Mike Conley-Memphis Grizzlies (7,000): Conley has been good when he has been able to stay on the floor for the Grizzlies although he has battled injury throughout much of the season. He played 29 minutes against the Kings on Saturday, though, and looked strong with 22-8-3 for 36.1 fantasy points. Conley has been over 35 fantasy points in three of his last five games and is in a good matchup against the Lakers who are allowing the seventh-most fantasy points per game to opposing PG this season. After a couple days off, Conley should be ready to play 30ish minutes tonight which should make him a good play at this price.∗∗

Reggie Jackson-Detroit Pistons (6,100): R-Jax hasn’t exploded for a monster game since his return from knee tendonitis which caused him to miss the first chunk of the season. He has been playing solid basketball lately, though, and he is re-emerging as a fantasy option to keep a close eye on. He has over 28 fantasy points in each of his last three games with 14-3-6 for 28.6 fantasy points against the Bucks, 20-4-8 for 34.8 fantasy points against the Hawks, and 27-2-4 for 34.4 fantasy points against the Heat. His game against Miami on Sunday was his highest scoring game of the season and a good sign that he’s ready to keep improving as he gets to full speed. Tonight, he’ll face the Pacers who could be without Jeff Teague and forced to play Aaron Brooks big minutes at PG. Jackson should dominate a head-to-head matchup with Brooks making him a nice play at just over 6K. No Teague-∗∗∗∗ With Teague-∗∗∗
