Devonta Freeman made life miserable for the Seahawks defense with this incredible 53-yard catch and run.

The Atlanta Falcons are showing no mercy against the Seattle Seahawks. MVP candidate and quarterback Matt Ryan has performed spectacularly.

However, running back Devonta Freeman stole the show with an amazing gain that initially looked like a short catch. After Ryan tossed the ball to Freeman, he broke tackles and put on a wicked juke to get close to the end zone.

Here’s the video of Freeman showing off his incredible playmaking ability and breaking ankles along the way.

The Falcons running back had a solid 2016 season. He rushed for 1,079 yards and 11 touchdowns while averaging 4.8 yards per carry. He was able to maintain this production while sharing carries with fellow running back Tevin Coleman, who rushed for eight touchdowns.

Freeman has not seen much action in the rushing department. However, he has scored a rushing touchdown despite receiving just nine carries. Coleman continues to take pressure off of Freeman in a committee approach. Meanwhile, the Seahawks offense has sputtered with running back Thomas Rawls falling back down to Earth. Quarterback Russell Wilson has not performed badly, but his performance is certainly not enough to match Ryan.

The Falcons hold a 29-13 lead over the Seahawks as the fourth quarter gets under way. The NFC South champions entered this game as favorites, but many pundits expected the Seahawks to give the Falcons a run for their money.

The Falcons offense continues to heat up, though. Ryan has thrown two touchdown passes while taking excellent care of the ball. He has also completed most of his passes while spreading the ball around. It remains to be seen whether the Seahawks can pull off a spectacular fourth quarter comeback.
