Oklahoma State Cowboys

Last week: 10-7, 0-5 Big 12
Last rank: 6

Oklahoma State has taken on a tough schedule to date. However, at the end of the day, they have yet to win a Big 12 game and are going to have to beat some of these good teams to prove any sort of legitimacy. This week, the Cowboys lost at home to Iowa State before losing what is essentially an impossible task at Kansas. The team really needed the Iowa State game, and a loss at Texas looms large given where Texas is. This week will provide two huge chances to right the ship at home against Kansas State and on the road against Texas Tech.

Texas Tech Red Raiders

Last week: 13-4, 2-3 Big 12
Last rank: 7

The Red Raiders picked up a big home win this week against Kansas State. However, it was a one-point win at home against an average Wildcats team. They trailed most of that game, and only took the lead with 15 seconds remaining. A technical foul late in the game put the Red Raiders ahead. They followed that up with a rough loss to Oklahoma, who sits towards the bottom of the conference. The Red Raiders have held down their home court, but are currently just 1-3 on the road. Fortunately for them, they have two home games this week, and winnable ones at that. They host TCU and Oklahoma State in Lubbock.
