High Salary PG

John Wall-Washington Wizards (9,600): Wall and the Wizards faced the Grizzlies last night in DC. Wall’s 25-2-13 (points-rebounds-assists) stat line resulted in 53 fantasy points and a big win for Washington at home. He’ll play the second have of his back-to-back tonight in New York and makes sense if you have the salary to spend. After last night’s game, Wall has scored at least 24 points in four of his last five, but his assist numbers were a bit down over the past week. Still, Wall has at least 41 fantasy points in five straight and 11 of his last 12. The Knicks are a mess, and Wall usually performs well at the Garden, so I expect a big game. He’s a little risky only because of his price tag, but if you have the salary flexibility, Wall is a good option.

Eric Bledsoe-Phoenix Suns (7,700): Bledsoe had a huge game against the Jazz on Monday pouring in 31-9-9 for 57.75 fantasy points. He has at least 37 fantasy points in eight of his last nine games and has posted over 40 fantasy points in three of his last four. When the Suns and Cavs played earlier this month, Bledsoe had 31-2-8 with a block and two steals for 52 fantasy points. He’s a very nice play tonight and has the potential to deliver elite numbers at a relatively affordable salary. I would not take him over Wall straight-up, but on a points-per-dollar basis I think he has way more upside.

Ricky Rubio-Minnesota Timberwolves (6,600): Amidst a swirl of rumors that the T-Wolves are looking to trade Rubio, he’s putting together his best run of the season. Rubio had 21-2-14 for 45.4 fantasy points against the Spurs on Tuesday and has at least 42 fantasy points in four of his last five contests. Rubio gets a nice matchup tonight, too, as he takes on the Clippers without Chris Paul.
