DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-February 1
High Salary PG
Isaiah Thomas-Boston Celtics (9,500): Thomas has been huge lately and continued his impressive run with another 55+ fantasy points game on Monday against Detroit when he had 41-0-8 (points-rebounds-assists) with a pair of steals for 57.5 fantasy points. He has at least 55 fantasy points in three of his last four and at least 49 fantasy points in seven of his last eight. He’ll take on the Raptors tonight in Boston after posting 27-1-7 agasint them earlier this month. Remember Toronto did play overtime last night against the Pelicans and will again be without DeMar DeRozan for tonight’s matchup.∗∗∗
Kyle Lowry-Toronto Raptors (8,600): I had Lowry in my DraftKings daily picks lineup last night even before DeRozan was ruled out, but I liked him even more once it was clear that ALL the offense would go through him. He was owned on many teams after that, but he still came through with 33-4-10 with 56 fantasy points against the Pelicans giving him 52 fantasy points or more in three of his last four games. He did play 45 minutes in Toronto’s OT win, so fatigue could be a factor but he has been solid in back-to-backs recently, so there’s no need to totally avoid him just because of that. He’ll had a very nice game against Boston the last time these teams played with 24-4-9 against IT4 and the C’s. ∗∗∗∗
Goran Dragic-Miami Heat (7,400): Another PG playing well and in an even better matchup than Lowry tonight is Goran Dragic who will take on the Hawks. Dragic is coming off a solid game against the Nets with 20-3-8 and three steals in 33 minutes for 41.75 fantasy points. He has at least 40 fantasy points in three of his last four games. Since Atlanta allows the fifth-most fantasy points per game to opposing PG this season, he should be able to get to 40+ fantasy points again tonight.∗∗∗
Mike Conley-Memphis Grizzlies (7,300): Conley is coming off a career-high 38 points against Phoenix on Monday when he shot a sizzling 12-18 from the field and 7-10 from deep to pile up 38-9-6 for 65.5 fantasy points. He gets a great matchup to build on that game as he faces the Nuggets tonight who have allowed the second-most fantasy points per game to opposing PG on the season and by far the most of any team over their last five games. They were destroyed last night by a just-returning D’Angelo Russell, so Conley should be able to put up another monster number.∗∗∗∗
Reggie Jackson-Detroit Pistons (6,500): Jackson had run off four consecutive games with 35_ fantasy points, but he struggled on Monday in Boston. He shot 4-12 and had just 12-2-6 for 26.5 fantasy points. He does get a nice bounce-back matchup tonight, though, against New Orleans who was beaten up by Kyle Lowry last night and has now allowed the third-most fantasy points to opposing PG this season.∗∗
Dennis Schroder-Atlanta Hawks (6,200): Schroder will take on Dragic and the Heat tonight and has been able to post at least 35 fantasy points in five of his last six games. His last two games have been extreme opposites, though, as he only managed 15 fantasy points last Friday against Washington on 9-0-5 in 23 minutes in a blowout followed by a monster 49.5 fantasy points on a quadruple-overtime-inflated 23-4-15 in 55 minutes against the Knicks. Even with far fewer minutes tonight, Schroder should able to get back over 30 fantasy points and be a solid play at this price. The only time he fails to deliver is when the game gets one-sided early and the Hawks get a rest day for everyone.∗∗∗
