Tonight’s rosters will lock in place once again at 7:00 PM ET when two games start things off. The ESPN coverage starts at 7:00 with LeBron and the Cavs trying to figure things out agains the Timberwolves while the Magic also host the Pacers at that time. At 7:30 a wave of games joins the action with the Raps visiting the C’s, the Knicks and Nets battling it out for NYC, the Hawks hosting the Heat, and the Pistons taking on the Pelicans. At 8:30, the Mavericks and Sixers tip off in Dallas followed at 9:00 by the Grizzlies at the Nuggets, the Bucks visiting the Jazz, and the Suns hosting the Clippers. ESPN’s double-header concludes with a 9:30 matchup between the Bulls and Thunder in OKC while the last game of the night doesn’t start until 10:30 when the Warriors host the Hornets. As you think about the 12 matchups tonight, remember the Hornets, Nuggets, Pelicans, Knicks, Thunder, and Raptors all are playing for the second day in a row while the Hawks, Warriors, Clippers, and 76ers will need to keep in mind that they’re scheduled for another game tomorrow.
To skip ahead to today’s DraftKings daily picks jump ahead to the next slide, but here are a couple quick reminders before we tip things off. In this post each day, there are a two slides per position. The first slide focuses on the high-salary options (usually 6K+) while the second slide focuses on the cheaper plays who bring high value (under 6K). Each pick is given a rating of 1-5 stars based on my confidence level in the pick (on a points-per-dollar basis). More stars means more confidence with one-star players having the least confidence and five-star players being “must-play” locks.
The design of these picks each day isn’t to give you a lineup to copy and paste, but to help you have the info to make your own best and well-informed decisions. I do include my own personal lineup on the last slide, but you should build your lineup with the players you like can cheer on tonight. For your information, my lineup is designed for lower-risk contests like double-up or small-field competitions not for GPP tournaments.
