High Salary SG

Dion Waiters, MIA at MIN ($7200): Waiters has grown into a very legitimate number one option/scoring wing for the Heat of late, averaging 23.3 points with 5.3 assists, 4.4 boards, 1.4 combined steals/blocks and 2.5 turnovers over his last eight games. The injuries on the wing for the Heat opened up a lane for Waiters, and he is running with it. On Monday he faces a strong Timberwolves wing defense that has allowed the fourth-fewest fantasy points to shooting guards. The only comparable wing defense that Waiters has faced recently is the Pistons, ranked seventh and within 0.7 fantasy points allowed of the Timberwolves against shooting guards, and Waiters gave them 17 points, seven assists and three boards last week. ***

Devin Booker, PHO at NO ($7100): Booker has now scored 20 or more points in 16 straight games, averaging 26.6 points with 3.3 assists, 2.8 boards, 1.1 combined steals/blocks and 3.6 turnovers over that stretch. He is coming off back-to-back games scoring over 30 points, the second time in this streak that he has done this. On Monday he faces a Pelicans wing defense that has allowed the 12th-most fantasy points to shooting guards this season. ****

Seth Curry, DAL at DEN ($6000): Curry has scored 20 or more points three times in his last six games, and is averaging 18.7 points, 4.5 boards, 3.5 assists, 1.7 combined steals/blocks and 1.8 turnovers over that stretch. Like Yogi Ferrell, his value takes a hit whenever Deron Williams is healthy enough to return, but for now he is playing some of his best basketball of his career. If he maintains his current role on Monday, he will have an outstanding matchup against a Nuggets defense that has allowed the most fantasy points to opposing guards of any team in the NBA. ***
