High Value SG

Wesley Matthews, DAL vs POR ($5800): Matthews has scored at least 28.8 fantasy points in four of his last five games, with a high-mark of 36.7 fantasy points in that stretch. On Tuesday he faces his old team, the Trail Blazers, for the second time in three games. The last time he faced them was that 36.7 fantasy points high mark, as Matthews scored 27 points with six boards and three assists in his return to Portland. ***

Eric Gordon, HOU vs ORL ($5500): Gordon has been consistent, if somewhat limited, since his return from back injury last week with at least 19.7 but at most 27.2 fantasy points in each of his last four games. On Tuesday, he faces a Magic defense that has allowed the eighth-most fantasy points to shooting guards over the last 10 games. **

Sean Kilpatrick, BKN at CHA ($4000): Kilpatrick has shown renewed life over the last couple of games with averages of 18 points, five boards, two assists, 0.5 steals and 3.5 turnovers in 29 minutes per game. Caris Levert is out for the second straight game with a knee injury, which could give Kilpatrick more playing time as well. On Tuesday he faces a Hornets defense that has allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to shooting guards over the past 10 games. He is a risky play, but his low price earns him an extra star. ***

C.J. Watson, ORL at HOU ($3800): Watson is a high-risk play right now. He was starting while Evan Fournier was out, but with Fournier back Watson has returned to the bench for the last three games. However, in one of those games he still received 32 minutes and produced 18 points, four assists, three boards, two steals and a blocked shot. In the other two games, he averaged 19.5 minutes, 6.5 points, 2.0 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.0 rebounds. Very risky, but on a short slate at a cheap price he at least earns consideration. *
