T.J. Lang

OG, Green Bay Packers

If the Denver Broncos want to be considered a serious contender in the deep AFC West next season, they have to do something about their offensive line. Last season, the Broncos allowed the opposition to run right over them, which led to them really struggling to run the ball. New head coach Vance Joseph is going to have to make the decision about who is playing quarterback early in camp, but it won’t matter if they are continuously running for their lives.

T.J. Lang is arguably the best guard available in free agency in 2017, and is coming off a solid season with the Green Bay Packers. Lang has yet to hear from the Packers about a new contract, and all signs point to him being out in Green Bay. He has played for the Pack his entire career, being drafted by the team in 2009, and signing a four-year deal with them back in 2012.

A Super Bowl champion, Lang would add the kind of protection the Broncos are going to need next season if they wish to keep pace with the likes of the Raiders and Chiefs. A Pro Bowler in 2016, Lang could be the odd-man out in Green Bay due to the fact the team paid heavy for their tackles, and he has had injuries issues in his career. Still, he is only 30-years old, and should have at least four good seasons left in him.
