Golden State Warriors

Sending out: Kevan Looney (ATL), Damian Jones (SAS), James McAdoo (WAS)

Bringing in: K.J. McDaniels (HOU)

What do you get for the team that has everything? K.J. McDaniels?

There’s not much here for the Warriors but we needed to get all 30 teams involved and this, if you squint, somewhat improves their title odds this season. McDaniels hasn’t found his footing in the Houston Rockets rotation and his offensive game is still incredibly raw. However, he has potential as a cutter and is a dynamite transition player. He’s also a plus-defender who offers some weakside shot-blocking and could defend multiple positions.

In exchange for a little bit of slightly-useful depth, the Warriors send out three theoretically talented young players who aren’t likely to see anything but garbage time during the playoffs.
