4. Denver Broncos

There were two big differences from the 2015 Broncos who won a Super Bowl and the 2016 Broncos who did not make the playoffs. One, obviously is that Peyton Manning is not around. However, the more underrated aspect was that the Broncos offensive line took a step back from the season before.

This had been a team that used the run to ease the pressure of their old signal caller. However, in 2016, the run game was not working the same, and it put too much pressure or Trevor Siemian. Their skill players are still fine on paper, and with Paxton Lynch expected to step in soon at quarterback, their big fix on the offense has to start with fixing up the line.

Last season, Michael Schofield and Max Garcia put in almost every snap at the guard position. According to the Pro Football Focus grading, Schofield finished the season as the 50th ranked guard, while Garcia finished 40th overall. It is safe to say that they could probably find an upgrade over either.

Schofield is a depth player and is a free agent in 2017. Leary would be a major upgrade over him, as he finished ranked 24th among guards by PFF. The Broncos could use the help in the interior in the worst way, and without much money invested in their quarterback right now, they should spend to improve the unit that keeps their quarterback protected.
