2. Defensive Line

The Washington interior front needs a facelift in the worst way, and they will likely get it in 2017. On their defensive line, Ziggy Hood, Chris Baker, Kedric Golston, and Cullen Jenkins are all free agents. It is safe to say one or two of the names will be back, but this is not a crew that needs to look the same or similar at all in 2018.

They should be hitting this area much harder than the other positions and should do it in multiple ways. In free agency, there are plenty of avenues worth looking into. For big space-cloggers, Dontari Poe and Brandon Williams would be some game changers in the middle. Nick Fairley, Bennie Logan, and Domata Peko are some other big name big men who could serve as an upgrade in the immediate future.

This also is a position worth looking into in the first round. There is a good chance one of the better interior names will be on the board for their pick, and they could be looking at a free agent addition and first round selection as their brand new starting duo in the middle. Whether it be in the first or the middle rounds there is a good chance that this position will be hit in both free agency and the draft.
