High Value PG

Elfrid Payton, ORL vs NY ($5800): Payton is one of the more up-and-down players in the NBA, and he is coming off an outstanding effort in which he scored 15 points with nine rebounds, nine assists, two steals and two steals in 28 minutes against the Hawks. In the two games before that he averaged only eight points with three assists and 2.5 rebounds in 26 minutes per, but in the game before that he scored 20 points with five boards and four assists in 31 minutes. This all makes him very difficult to predict, but he does have a good match-up on Wednesday against a Knicks team that he hit for 13 points and 14 assists back on January 2. ***

Cory Joseph, TOR vs WAS ($5100): Joseph has settled in as the starting point guard in place of the injured Kyle Lowry, and he looks to remain there for awhile as Lowry has been announced to be out for four to five weeks after wrist surgery. His production in these last three starts has been modest, averaging 10.3 points, 5.3 assists and 2.0 steals in 34.3 minutes, but he has flashed explosive potential with 33 points scored in his first start of the season. On Wednesday he faces a Wizards defense that has allowed the second-fewest fantasy points to point guards this season, but has allowed the 14th-most fantasy points to the position over the last five games. **

Ty Lawson, SAC vs BKN ($4900): Lawson started at point guard next to Darren Collison in his last game, scoring 11 points with nine assists and two steals in 35 minutes of play. If he gets the start again on Wednesday, he will be facing a Nets defense that has allowed the most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing point guards this season. ***
