High Salary PG

John Wall – Washington Wizards ($10200): Wall and the Wizards have won five straight and the addition of Bojan Bogdanovic gives them some firepower off the bench. The Wizards have not been in a game with less than a combined 229 points in their last five games. They push the pace, put up a lot of points, and also allow a lot, too. Wall has 50 FP last time against the Timberwolves, and that seems to be his floor these days, with a ceiling over 60.

Giannis Antetokounmpo – Milwaukee Bucks ($9800): The Bucks need to keep pushing hard to keep their playoff seed, and the Greek Freak will have to lead the way. Normally you’d stay away from the Memphis defense, but they’ve allowed 104 points or more in their last six games, with two eclipsing the 120 mark. Giannis already has a 55.5 FP game against the Grizzlies this season and we love that high ceiling.

Elfrid Payton – Orlando Magic ($7000): Elfrid is often a volatile player in that his scores can be all over the place, but if you play GPPs then you have to consider on a nightly basis. I’ve yet to figure out any rhyme or reason as to when he goes off, I just know that he can. The Kings don’t rebound the ball very well and they allow some of the highest shooting percentages in the NBA. Payton only had 25.75 FP against them in their first meeting, but he is a threat to go big every night. I would never expose him 100-percent, but he’ll definitely be in some of my lineups.

Ricky Rubio – Minnesota Timberwolves ($10200): The Wolves can still make the playoffs if they can play well this last month, and head coach Tom Thibodeau is known for riding players as much as he can. Rubio has been fantastic since Zach LaVine went down with his injury, and he’s gone for 44 FP or more in three of his last four. The Wizards will make the Wolves play faster than their 25th-ranked pace, and Rubio will be a beneficiary of that.
