TreDavious White

Cornerback, LSU

Time for the Browns to address their secondary. And they’ll do it by adding LSU product Tre’Davious White, who many consider to be the best pure coverage corner in the draft. His size raises some issues, but he’s fearless. Adding White gives the Browns a guy they can build their secondary around. At worst, they get one heck of a nickel corner. In today’s NFL, nickel corners have a lot of value. The Cleveland Browns are getting a corner who has a very high ceiling but still has a high floor.

Budda Baker

Free Safety, Washington

The Browns are doubling up on their secondary in this mock draft, getting a very talented free safety in Budda Baker. He might not be the fastest guy on the field, but he shows impressive instincts and quickness. Baker can make big plays thanks to his tenacious attitude and his high football IQ. While he needs to bulk up a little bit, that’s perfectly fine because it’s one of the easier flaws to deal with.
