High Value PF

Gorgui Dieng – Minnesota Timberwolves ($5000): Thibs loves to play Gorgui heavy minutes against teams that play big, and the Spurs do with Pau Gasol, Aldridge, and Dedmon. In three games against the Spurs this season Dieng has averaged just under 33 minutes and just over 34 FP per game. If he gets those 33 minutes tonight he’ll hit value or better.

Nikola Mirotic – Chicago Bulls ($4600): Mirotic is strictly a GPP play due to his volatility, but he certainly can go big if he’s on point. He posted a dud in his last outing but that was against the tough Utah defense. He’s already had a 30+ FP game against the Raptors this year and I suspect he’ll go north of 30 again tonight.

Noah Vonleh – Portland Trailblazers ($3500): Both Moe Harkless and Al-Farouq Aminu have been underwhelming of late, and Vonleh has stepped up with some steady production. He’s had 22.75 FP or more in three straight games and didn’t play less than 26 minutes in any of them. Milwaukee is not good defensively against bigs and they certainly don’t rebound well. At just $3500 Vonleh seems like an excellent value play tonight, especially if Giannis is out.

Matt Barnes – Golden State Warriors ($4300): Barnes got in foul trouble last night and only played 18 minutes. With Andre Iguodala out I assume he will get 25 or so minutes against the Mavs in Dallas. Barnes has been solid on the boards this year and the Mavs are one of the league’s worst rebounding teams. The price is right and the minutes shoud be there.
