Taylor Moton

Offensive Tackle, Western Michigan

The Denver Broncos have got to improve their offensive line. Ronald Leary fills a huge need inside. However, they still need better outside protection from their tackles. Taylor Moton is someone who could step in Week 1 and improve Denver’s offensive line. He has experience all over the place, spending at least a full season at right guard and right tackle. Moton probably isn’t going to be a left tackle in the NFL, but he should be a quality starter somewhere on the right side.

His future is likely as a tackle. Moton needs a little work with his pass blocking fundamentals, but he’s a very solid run blocker. He shows impressive instincts. Moton would be an immediate upgrade at right guard for the Broncos. Michael Schofield had to fill in there in 2016 but he didn’t impress.

Rebuilding the Broncos offensive line is going to be a lengthy process. It takes a while to build in the trenches. Denver was wise not to commit too much money to the offensive line in a mediocre free agent class. The only guy they gave big money to is Leary and if he stays healthy, he’s worth it. Moton could be another important piece of the Denver Broncos’ offensive line for the next four years.
